即使 A,也 B means “even if A, still B.” It is often used for hypothetical or difficult conditions.

Read the sample sentence and notice how 即使……也…… works in the frame: 即使 A,也 B.
即使 introduces a condition that may happen, may be imagined, or may be extreme. 也 marks that the result will not change. It is stronger than 如果 because it emphasizes “even under this condition.” Do not add 所以 after 即使. Compared with 尽管, 即使 is more suitable for hypothetical situations, while 尽管 often presents a real fact.
