不仅 A，反而 B means “not only not A, but instead B.” It highlights an opposite result from what people expected.

Read the sample sentence and notice how 不仅……反而…… works in the frame: 不仅 A，反而 B.
In this pattern, the first clause often contains 没有 or 不 because the speaker denies an expected result. 反而 introduces the surprising opposite result. Do not use it for two simple positive additions; use 不仅...而且... for “not only... but also....” Compared with 不但不...反而..., this pattern can be a little more flexible, but the contrast must still be clear.
