不是 + Statement + 吗？: 不是...吗 is a rhetorical or confirming question: the speaker expects the answer to be yes or reminds the listener of something.
Use 不是...吗 when you think something is true and want confirmation, surprise, or a reminder. It is not a neutral yes-no question. The sentence between 不是 and 吗 is the fact being checked: 你不是明天考试吗？ Do not use it when you genuinely have no idea.
