大概 means “probably” or “about.” It shows an estimate, not exact information. In Chinese, 大概 usually appears before the verb, adjective, or number phrase it modifies. Use it when the meaning is clear: process, final result, continuation, confirmation, emphasis, estimate, similarity, minimum, or maximum. Do not translate word by word from Vietnamese or English; check whether the sentence needs an adverb, an adjective, or a number limit. Common mistakes include placing 大概 after the verb, using it with an exact number when an estimate is not intended, or confusing similar words such as 逐渐/不断, 仍然/依然, 大概/差不多, and 至少/最多.
