Read the sample sentence and notice how 越……越…… works in the frame: 越 A，越 B.
This pattern has two 越 parts. The first part gives the condition or degree that changes; the second part gives the result that changes with it. It can be used with verbs or adjectives. Do not confuse it with 越来越, which describes one thing changing over time. In 越A越B, A and B are linked.
