尚未 is used before verbs to show that an expected action or result has not happened up to now. It often appears with 确定, 公布, 完成, 解决, 发现. Do not use it for an action that already happened. Compared with 并未, 尚未 highlights “not yet,” leaving the possibility that it may happen later.
