Penerangan

靠 introduces the thing that supports an action or result. It can be a person, skill, money, effort, or method. It is different from 凭: 靠 often stresses dependence or practical support, while 凭 often stresses basis, proof, or qualification. Do not use 靠 when you simply give a reason; use 因为 for cause and 靠 for reliance.
