课程摘要
只 means 'only.' Put it before the verb or adjective to limit what is true, what someone does, or how much is included.
只 is used to narrow the scope of a sentence: only do something, only like one thing, only have a small amount, or only one person is involved. It usually stands before the verb or adjective: 我只看中文书. For possession or existence with a number, 只有 is more natural: 我只有十块钱. Do not confuse 只 with 都, because 都 expands the scope to all, while 只 limits it.
