把……看作……

The pattern regard... as... (把……看作……) is a 把-sentence pattern used to express: regard... as.... Its actual structural frame is 把 A 看作 B; when forming a sentence, keep each element in its proper position. After 把, use a definite object and then state how it is handled, regarded, or named.
