Verb + 到 shows that the action reached its target or succeeded: 买到票, 找到手机, 听到声音, 看到老师. It is different from the verb 到 meaning 'arrive.' As a complement, 到 comes right after another verb. Negative is usually 没 + Verb + 到: 我没找到手机.
