课程摘要
A declarative sentence gives information or describes a fact. It normally ends with a period in writing.
陈述句 is the most basic sentence type in Chinese. It tells, describes, or reports something: 我是学生, 他在家, 今天很热.
At HSK 1, the key is to build a clear statement with stable word order. Do not add question markers such as 吗 if you are making a statement, and do not use a question mark unless you are really asking.
