课程摘要
Chinese has four main question types: 吗 questions (yes/no), question-word questions (who/what/where), 还是 questions (choice), and A-not-A questions (yes/no, more colloquial).
There are four types of questions in Chinese at HSK 1 level: 1. 吗 question: statement + 吗? (yes/no) → 他是老师吗? 2. Question-word question: replace unknown with 什么/谁/哪儿/几/多少 → 你想买什么? 3. 还是 question: A 还是 B? (choose one) → 你喝茶还是咖啡? 4. A-not-A question: repeat verb as V + 不 + V (yes/no, more natural in speech) → 你去不去?
CRITICAL RULE: Never combine a question word (什么/谁/哪儿) with 吗. Also never add 吗 to an A-not-A question.
