课程摘要
作为 introduces someone’s role, identity, or function: “as / in the capacity of....” It tells from what position or role a statement is made.
Use 作为 before a noun phrase to show the role or identity being used in the sentence: 作为老师, 作为朋友, 作为一个学生. It often appears at the beginning of the sentence, followed by a comma, then the comment, duty, opinion, or action. It can also mean “serve/function as,” as in 这本书可以作为礼物. Do not confuse it with 把……当作……: 当作 means “treat A as B,” while 作为 simply states the role or function. 算是 gives an approximate judgment; 作为 is more direct and role-based.
