therefore; as a result (因而……)
因而…… means "therefore; as a result". Use it with A，因而 B to express B happens because of the reason in A.

Hángbān shòu tiānqì yǐngxiǎng, yīn'ér línshí qǔxiāo.
The flight was affected by the weather and was therefore canceled at short notice.
