Lesson summary
Read the sample sentence and notice how 面对…… works in the frame: 面对 A,B.
面对 can be used as a verb or as a preposition-like phrase at the beginning of a sentence. It is often followed by a challenge, problem, change, choice, or person. Do not confuse it with 见面, which means “meet.” After 面对 A, the next clause usually gives an attitude, action, or response.
