A double-object sentence has a verb followed by a person object and a thing object.
Some verbs can take two objects, usually a person first and a thing second: 给我一本书, 教我们中文, 问老师一个问题. The person receives, learns, or is asked; the thing is what is given, taught, or asked. Do not reverse the two objects.
