Use 不仅……还…… to add information in the same direction. It can connect adjectives, verbs, noun phrases, or clauses, but the two parts should be parallel. The second clause uses 还 before the verb/adjective. Compared with 不但……而且……, 不仅……还…… is very common in speech and writing, and 还 sounds natural in everyday sentences. Do not use it when the second part is opposite to the first; use 不但……反而…… for contrast.
